OODL: OODL - Choice of compilers

... bear with me please if we have.

One of my colleagues, which is not that familiar with programming,
would like to compile the source code of MacOS X so that he can use it.

What compiling environment would you suggest ?

Options that come to my mind :

� MPW  ( AppleScriptable to boot )
� CodeWarrior
