Hi,
having read the slashdot article on GPL vs. BSD and having looked at how
the wxWindows folks do it, I think we might go with their solution:
wx goes under the L-GPL, but allows compiled binaries to be distributed as
part of commercial products. I haven't read both licenses yet, but I think
this is what our license is supposed to do:
1) Guarantee that OC will remain free and that people will still be able
to change the code as they see fit
2) Allow people to distribute stacks made using OC and the OpenCard
application so they can run it (optionally both merged into one file as a
standalone)
right?
