Sive Lindmark : I have some HC xcmds written in C that does the same
job as HC own commands, put, number of lines, number of items and so
on. Can share them and I also wan't to go on with more HC commands ...

Alain : Excellent! Who could refuse such a generous offer? Please mail
me your preferred username and password, so that we can provide you
with an FTP account and, consequently, will provide you with the means
of sharing your C-coded HC commands with our group.

Sive Lindmark : ... but tell me a little bit more about the status of
OpenCard?

Alain : Anthony DeRobertis is in charge of the programming. A
preliminary version of the OpenCard interpreter is available, I
believe. If memory serves me well, the current version of our
interpreter does math, commands, functions ... Current work is on
conditional structures ( if ... then ... ).

Alain : Several members on working on frameworks. Uli is working on
OpenCard's file system and has provided me with a "Download Manager"
that I will soon install. I am working on the group's collaboration
infrastructure (web site and so on). Adrian Sutton was recently working
on a Voting CGI (with encryption thrown in for security).

Alain : Current issues being discussed include the licencing terms of
OpenCard and products derived from it, choice of a programming
framework, GUI framework, making OpenCard scriptable in AppleScript or
not, sub-dividing the lists into major categories or not, etc.

Alain : Check out our mail archive for the long and short of it all.

Regards, and thank you for your contributions, Sive.
