Should not be any more dangerous than alpha releases written in HyperCard
or AppleScript. Perl, like the above two, is (essentially) interpreted. You
have to try to crash it (and of course I test them on my machine, first).
Dangerous stuff would be, for example, C or maybe Perl that calls some of
the MacOS stuff.

I think we can both up the degree of difficulty. I'm going to put in
administration, automatic emailing of bug reports, etc. (I can get the
email working so long as your EIMS can send. ). And Perl has real password
facilities... so, you're on!
