Alain : HyperCard allows standalones without any licencing hassles. If
HyperCard did it, why can't we?

Anthony: Apple wrote their own licence. We'd have to do the same ...

Alain : At this time, I favour the option of writing our own licence
(the one that Uli has begun drafting).

Anthony: ... or use one that would allow standalones. I believe the
Artistic would.

Alain : Can we state, for the record, that the condition that
stipulates that standalones made with OC do NOT come under OC's licence
is an absolute-must? And that any licencing scheme that negates this
condition be rejected?

Alain : What are you leaning towards now, Anthony?
GPL or Perl Artistic Licence or something else?

Anthony: I think I'm leaning towards the Perl Artistic.

Alain : I have not read that one in a while. Back to work, eh!

Alain : I am amazed at how much energy you have put into the licencing
issue, Anthony, despite your initial reluctance to discuss it
immediately. Kudos!
