Maybe, but I still haven't seen a reasonable proposal for how
standalones would be treated if you use a GPL license.  If you require
source code distributions, no commercial developer will touch it.  If
you don't, you have the "UltraCard" problem I discussed earlier.  If
all you want to require a copyright notice (a la BSD), then you should
use a license for which that is a key component (such as BSD) rather
than the GPL.
