Hi Mark,
Alain & Scott can speak more authoratatively, but my understanding is
MetaCard has offered to provide development systems as prototyping tools
for the individuals working on the OK UI. Once it is finished, MetaCard
can ship our prototype OK UI with future releases of MetaCard as an
alternative MC UI. We get use of a development tool for prototyping, MC
gets a new UI written in MC.
The marketplace will then have an inexpensive authoring tool (OC) and a
professional developer's authoring tool (MC) with a better UI than it has
now.
