We need a fast format -- and PNG compression can be SLOW [decompression is
OK]. Now, we could export to a "small stack" format, which would use
highly-compressed graphics, though.

However, the interpreter could not care less about the graphics format [as
long as it's within reason].

Ummm... They probably have Courier, but not Monoco or Geneva.

Sure -- no reason it can't be a property, as in HyperCard.
