I'd like to take a moment to applaud Alain's use of the message archive.
Most of this was resolved before, and perhaps we should look at that.

We discussed for many messages before what to do about licencing,
authoring, etc. and it's all in the archive.

Someday, someone needs to build that FAQ -- no doubt drawing from a year's
worth of effort, all in the archive.
