Folks,
as Mark put it, and as I now realized after looking at the 8 votes that
came in during the week, I doubt we'll have a representative vote here.
There were people who only listed their top 3 names, there were people
listing a rating for all 40, there were people who ranked 5 or 6 names --
to cut a long speech short: It's impossible to calculate a fair vote from
this. So, let's try this again.
Send the following to me:
A list of the 5 names you like the least, with 1 being the worst name and 5
being the best name.
A list of your 10 favorite names (I need only 5 names, but since 5 are
eliminated I have to be sure there's 5 left even in a worst-case scenario.
You'll also have to give each of these a number from 1 (best) to 10 (worst).
Please don't try any extra tours like 40-point-rating or percentage etc. If
you are against this voting scheme, send me e-mail within the next three
days, suggesting a better voting scheme. The deadline for votes is next
thursday, unless this vote is cancelled within the next 3 days.
If you have questions, please ask! We will get this vote finished, I
wouldn't want to have to do a third attempt, because it'd essentially mean
we'.
Remember to send a CC to [EMAIL PROTECTED], so we have proof.
