Uli: I heard about HyperTalk having support for other
languages besides English, but so far I had only heard
that there were hooks, but they had never actually
created localized versions of HyperTalk, only of the
menus and dialogs. Or is this example about the
AppleScript French dialect?
Alain: My example was about the HyperTalk French
dialect? It does indeed exist. I used it for a time
when I was a undergraduate student in a French
university. I did not use it long however, because,
despite the fact that I am a francophone, programming
in English just seems more natural to me. English is
also more concise, and the english version of
softwares are always more up-to-date than their
non-English counterparts.
