We are. I hate to think of it, but the interpreter is really only a small
part of it.
Interestingly, though, we'll soon have G2 interpreter and we have a file

Curious: Can one seek XBF streaming -- that is, read from offset 30,000 for
1K, then read from offset 60,000 for 5K?
