Hi,
anyone know where I can find good docs about the "string" class
(basic_string<char>) of the C++ runtime library? I'm especially interested
in how far it supports streaming and accessing substrings, and whether
there is anything in the standard about it doing reference counting etc.
The name of a good book that lists all the classes and its publisher and
ISBN so I can order it (along with a price tag) would suffice completely.
Oh, and anyone know what is necessary so a class can be used as an index
in a hash map? Is this hard-coded to work only with string, or can I add
some operators to my own class to have it work?
