Hi All,

To move forward on determining the name Eric should put on the partnership agreement, I suggest one from Column A and one from Column B:

Column A Column B

FreeCard Alliance
FreeScripters Association
FreeScriptors Coalition
Compact
Confederacy
Confederation
Federation
Fusion
League
Partnership
Society
Union

From Funk & Wagnalls:

"Commonly, alliance is a connection formed by treaty between sovereign states for mutual aid in war; partnership is a mercantile word. ... Coalition is oftenest used of political parties; fusion is now the more common word in this sense. In a confederacy or confederation there is an attempt to unite separate states in a general government without surrender of sovereignty. Union makes the seperate states substantially one. Federation is a poetic and rhetorical word expressing something of the same thought."

association: "A body of persons associated for some common purpose."

league: "An alliance of persons or states for mutual support in a common cause."

society: "A body of persons associated for a common purpose or object."

I'm neutral on Column A and partial to "Federation" from Column B; however my reading of recent conversations is there are several budding confederates among us. :{`)
