Rob,
the Finder uses the option key to avoid showing the dialog in response to
a menu choice. SInce it's only when empty trash is chosen, this is no
problem. But we *mustn't* build this into "answer" or we'll be in knee-deep
trouble.

that could be done using Preferences. If you choose "Get Info" on the
trash, you can completely turn off that message in the Finder. I don't mind
if the option key is used for this purpose in FreeUI, but it must be
implemented in FreeScript. It mustn't be hard-coded into FreeCard, agreed?
