I agree, we have to choose our name wisely. My personal preference is
choosing a name that sounds "small", since a program created by a handful
of idealistic programmers sounds a lot better than a product from a big
corporation.
Though, if you look at a project like Linux, which we so like to use to
see as an example of how to do it right ... I'm not sure we'd need a
special name. We could just call ourselves the "UFP FreeCard developers",
or something informal like that.
I have to admit, I don't care that much about the group's name, as that of
the product is much more important in our case.
