In my brainstorming for organizational names, I've come upon this mini-list
of available domains:
WayFree.Com
WayFree.Net
WayFree.Org
WayOpen.Org
WayOpen.Net
WayOpen.Com
WFO is sorta close to WTO (as in Seattle 99 riots.)
And, one of the top favorite of mine, OpenWays.Org.
I'm not going to buy up those domains on hunches without running the names
up the flag-pole to see who shouts for joy -- but I sorta think that the
last one has a ring to it. * Open Ways Organiztion * (as in OpenWays.Org).
The United Way has gotta be one of the biggest non-profit ventures in the US
(if not the world). The United Way, IMHO, has a very safe feel to it, and
Open Ways Organization might enjoy some associated comfort too. Yet, the two
names not so similar as to be confusing in the marketplace.
If there was a resounding craving (as in more than a dozen of you instantly
fall in love and email me off line) then that would be a different matter
when it comes to springing the $ for the domain as an investment for us
here. But, that is not expected.
As you see here, I'm going for the killer name -- short, and available in a
domain search.
This effort should be either a "NET" or a "ORG" -- and NOT a .COM. Right?
More yet to come, BTW -- should the Harks of Joy not be heard by Angles in
these fields. <;0
