So - let me know what you think. If we are planning on less than a dozen
partners also let me know _who wants the headache of being a partner; i do not
know if i do and if anyone wants i am happy to disqualify myself from being a
partner (coz it _will be a headache and if your looking for later business
opportunities it is simply not necessary - being a partner is something you
want to do either for personal idealism or egoism personally i prefer the
former though the latter sometimes is a motivator)

gui
I am working on the GUI. Specifically, icons (individual gifs not portraits)
but also stack colorization, and other cosmetic changes. I sent a copy to
Alain and Scott. If they approve please upload for others consideration.
I need to know who else is interested in improving the existing GUI. My
approach to the GUI is like this : take the MC gui and improve it and use the
new gui for openKard.
Tabstops are fine by me. My biggest change will be shrinking stacks screen
rects - i.e. 3x5 cards will become 2x2 or 2x4... I have also prototyped color
scheme changes.
Regarding the GUI my critiques are:
1) the icon chooser is _slow. I admit my machine is an unacellerated
uncoprocessed 68030 _but it's not just the machine speed.
(my biggest critique)
2) Needs a facelift.
a) color scheme
b) icons
3) Disappearing icons. 20+ icons leads to the bermuda triangle effect. Why?
Probably related to buffering?
a) the tab stops could be shrinked but due to recursivity they are being
feisty and refusing to cooperate. They will be extracted tortured and
reincorporated. (not a major problem, i expect to be able to workaround it)
When/if the gui prototype is uploaded have a look at it.
Oh, i need to ask to have a numerical suite reserved for the icons i am
designing. MC comes preloaded with a couple hundred. Having numerical
references will allow an easier installation of new icons, plus avoid
compatability problems with later releases or other meta apps.
