It appaears Apple has given us a _great_ example of a UI no-no. Check out
their website.... Ak... Awfull! As far as I can tell, some 3-year-old
cracker managed to take out Apple.com. Except they appear to be _proud_ of
this look. Am I the only one who thinks that the disorganized mess of an
image map on the front page is wretched?!
OTOH, the OSX screenshots are neat. See <http://www.apple.com/macosx/>.
Look closesly -- it even has translucent menus. Though it looks like MacOS
= Darwin+X+WM+some clients. On the same subject, see
<http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=00/01/06/091243&mode=nested>. I think
the new find sucks, though.
PS: If they come to their senses, I've got the site archived for anyone who
