Alain: I have passed on your interrogations concerning
fonts to my graphics-artist. She had provided me with
a very short list of multi-platform fonts, e.g. fonts
that you can expect to be the same on each platform.

Alain: I have kept myself relatively abreast of the
situation where the font issue is concerned. For some
time now, they have been talking about embedding fonts
into HTML pages. Like images, the fonts will be
downloaded dynamically (and cached too?) to the client
when the page is rendered. The remaining issue, I
believe, is whether the font can be cached or whether
it should be systemically flushed once you are done
reading your page.
