Alain: No problemo.

Alain: A mere glimpse and gut-reaction to your work
would not do it justice, Eric. I am totally submerged
this week. So I will have to get to it next week. I
hope that other participants will have more time than
I presently have. On the other hand, once we get a
working coherent prototype, I will have it evaluated
by a dozen multimedia specialists that I studied with
at UQAM.

Alain: Too early to tell but my gut feeling is that
MetaCard provides more potential than HyperCard does,
and we will eventually be porting everything to
FreeCard anyhow.

> Is that presumption correct?
Alain: Not being one of the programmers, I can only
speculate on this. But, for what it is worth, I
believe that your presumption is correct. It keeps the
engin lean and focused, and allows the GUI folk (and
our eventual users) to fully customize every aspect of
the interface. This stack-orientation was also
prompted by the fact that the other platforms do not
have a resource fork, eg. the ScriptEditor, the
MessageWatcher, etc ... are currently resources in HC.

Alain: Walk away from the computer! ;-)
> Eric: Does visine help?
Alain: Sure. But be careful though. I am not sure what
long-term consequences there are to over-using visine.
It must not be a ... pretty sight!
