Hi,

I have uploaded a first release of my "ElektraWeb" stack. Basically, it's
an extensible HTML-page generation tool, similar in nature to my download
manager, but as of yet I haven't completely moved the DL manager into
Elektra.

 It's in ftp://upf.uqam.ca/Downloads/Uli/Elektra.sit.

Maybe Alain has use for this to make it easier to create our web page. He
could adapt his code to Elektra plugins ("Pure Text" is nice as a starting
point, if you want more advanced techniques, check out "File List"). So far
Elektra doesn't support framesets, but I will add this soon (of course, one
could simply modify the "HTML file" plugin to generate the necessary tags
for a frameset in conjunction with a special file header).

Elektra's advantage is that every file is built using "blocks", which are
defined by plugins. Thus, if someone needs e.g. a section on a page that
displays the contents of text files in a folder as tables, I could write
the appropriate plugin and that would all Alain would need to add this
feature upon my request. Since Elektra is fully implemented in HyperTalk,
it's also possible to do everything, from text processing to calling XCMDs
to do the work.

Cheers,
