Alain: No one is using the UFP list/digest. You can
remove those if that relieves your hosting burden in
any way. Please maintain the opencard list and digest
though.
Mark Rauterkus: My hunch was that this (sourceforge)
was only an "announcement" list. That is something
"NEW" that was not offered yet. (...) My idea is to
expand into the other services -- and then after those
are mastered, then we could take down the lists at
MetaCard.
Alain: We have only just begun with SourceForge. It
would be premature and foolhardy to move EVERYTHING
right away. One hitch could knock down all means of
communication between us .. could be fatal!
Mark Rauterkus: I don't think we WANTED to pull the
plug on the lists that is being hosted now at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Alain: I wholeheartedly agree.
Mark Rauterkus: Thanks for the hosting and list-owning
efforts to this point.
Alain: We do indeed appreciate the hosting duties that
are being assumed by Scott. Anyone wishing to show him
their appreciation, by giving something back, then I
suggest that you lend a hand to the MetaCard-GUI
effort spearheaded by Eric.
Mark Rauterkus: Others, please speak up if I'm not
hitting upon your hopes as well.
Alain: I dearly hope that we can keep our opencard
list and digest in the reliable hands of metacard.com,
at least until we have fully colonized and mastered
our new SourceForge home.
