Martin,

the card operating systems on the market usually provide no possibility to
get a list of
the files in a directory.

Often, a directory file located in the MF of a card is used to store a list
of the applications
on the card. By reading this file, you can at least find out which
applications are on
the card.

In most cases, the assumtion is that the application that deals with the
card only needs to
check whether the appropriate application DF is on the card and then knows
the file IDs
or short file IDs of all EFs in that DF as well as the keys to access them.

Best Regards,

Thomas

Subject: [OCF] Getting information about files for MFC 4.0

Hi!
I would like to know if it is possible to retrieve information about
what files(EF) and/or directories(DF) exist on a card (I have an
Opencard DEMOCARD). Is it, for instance, possible to list files in a
directory (DF)? If that's not possible I'll have to remember path and
name of every file/directory I create and that seems somewhat difficult.
