Renaud,
when I was writing the article for JavaWorld, I used an earlier
version of OCF. Meanwhile, we moved the class
CardServiceUnexpectedResponseException from the package
opencard.core.service to opencard.opt.service.
The sample code should compile if you change the appropriate
import statement.

Subject: [OCF] BusinessCard package compilation error w/ OCF 1.1.1
Hello,
the compilation of the demo package BusinessCard (
http://www.javaworld.com/jw-10-1998 ) fails with OCF 1.1.1, because some
classes uses CardServiceUnexpectedResponseException exception.
I did not find this class in the OCF 1.1.1 APIs.
1. Is it normal ? (part of OCF 1.0 or 1.1 ?)
2. Which exception is used in 1.1.1, that replaces
CardServiceUnexpectedResponseException ?
I'm already trying to understand the use of OCF in order to plug some
e-business features in a University project (integrating the Java Purse /
Java Loyalty cardlets -JavaCard example in API 2.1- with OCF and an
applet)
Thanks,
Renaud Delsol
