This is the procedure how to work with the OCF PCSC Bridge:
1. You need a PCSC 1.0 Driver for your card reader. This is usually
delivered with the card reader.
2. Install the Microsoft windows smart card base components (also most
often part of the reader software) as well as the
PCSC driver for your specific reader. After booting make sure the
SmartCard Resource Manager was started successfully.
3. Put OCFPCSC1.DLL (part of the OCF 1.1.1 downloadables) into your path.
4. Configure the OCF CardTerminals in opencard.properties as follows:
OpenCard.terminals =
com.ibm.opencard.terminal.pcsc10.Pcsc10CardTerminalFactory
5. Run your OCF applet/application with the
com.ibm.opencard.terminal.pcsc10.* classes in the classpath.
