Aaron,
the work of the OCF Consortium concerning Application Management is
currently on progress. Quite a few things described in the Programmers
Guide and the API Doc of OCF 1.1.1 will change. We hope to get the things
published by end of the year.
One issue which might be important for you is that we agreed upon renaming
the Application Management package into opencard.opt.mgmt.
ApplicationTemplate will be called AppletInfo
ApplicationManagementCardService will be called AppletAccessCardService
Since this topic seems to be an important issue we'll hurry to get things
public available as soon as possible.
Best Regards
Thomas Stober

Subject: [OCF] ApplicationTemplates, ApplicationManagementCardService
hi,
pages 20-21 of the OpenCard Framework 1.1.1 Programmer's Guide discuss
ApplicationTemplates and ApplicationManagementCardService. since the
example on p. 21 goes like
ApplicationManagementCardService amcs = null;
ApplicationContext context = null;
CardFile directory = null;
try {
//...
context = amcs.select(template.getApplicationID());
} catch OpenCardExceptions {
...
}
since it's a NullPointerException without spelling out what happens in
the beginning of the try block i went to the api doc index but there are
no enties there for either ApplicationTemplates or
ApplicationManagementCardService.
does anyone have a pointer where to look for them? tia,
