Dear Community,

you might remember my posting from 4 October, where i asked for help
concerning the following exception from OCF:

opencard.core.terminal.CardTerminalException: PCSC Exception in method
SCardTransmit: error occurred with SCardTransmit
return code = 80100010
description = The reader or smart card is not ready to accept commands.

Finally i tried a strategy we used with the IBM 5948 reader (non PCSC)
yet: writing data in chunks (not bigger then 96 bytes). And in fact the
error does not occur any more if the size of the data which is written
does not exceed the magic 96 bytes.
Writing the data in chunks slows down the writing process, but for the
moment it is OK to get rid of the error.
I tested this with a Siemens B01 Snuggle and a Cherry keyboard with
integrated reader G83-6700 and it works fine. With UTIMACO Card Man it
never was a problem.

Best regards
Hans
