Has anyone written a Terminal that handles the SmartDisk Smarty? (floppy-like Reader) They have a PC/SC implementation that works very well. Unfortunately, the Reader is battery driven and requires special API calls to "wakeup" and "sleep". It also has a special "Poll" function to check the Floppy Drive to make sure that the Terminal is in the drive. Has anyone dealt with this? If not, can anyone suggest an approach to writing the Terminal for it? I'd like to wrap the PC/SC stuff, but I'm not sure how to approach this. Is this kind of functionality (a polling Terminal, power management) supported in the framework?
