Read it.
But, it sounds to me like you need a better understanding of smartcards, and
especially Multi-application smartcards, in general.
Try going to http://www.smartcardbasics.com/ to get some more general info
on smartcards and how they work.
And, if you buy a JavaCard from someone (i.e. Schlumberger or GemPlus), read
their SDK documentation too.
