Hi,
A preview of our JavaCard applet build script is available now.
If you'd like to try building your own applets for JavaCard 2.1 as well
as 1.11 and 2.2 iButtons (JavaCard 2.0) just by running a single ANT
build script, please check it out. You'll need Apache's ANT tool first.
Let me know by direct mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] what you think of it.
Before you ask: No it's not an IDE. It just builds applets using Apache's
ANT build tool. It's quick and easy. You put .java source in, you get
.cap and .jib out.
It means you can build applets for many card types without needing Vendor
SDKs or IDEs. It's a great timesaver.
During preview we have no site up, but you can download the ZIPs which
contain a README.txt telling you how to use it.
There are two version, one with the full Sun JavaCard 2.1 Kit bundled and
one without. This is to satisfy Sun licensing conditions. If you already
have the JC21 Kit and don't want to download an extra MB of data, then
you can just copy it under our directory tree (see README for directory
structure).
We are of course planning to expand the list of applets built by this.
This is just the first public release, so that we can iron out any issues
and get other card companies to give us the info we need to expand our
repertoire. We would like to thank Dallas Semiconductor for their support
to date. We plan to add support for Schlumberger Cyberflex cards and
Gemplus Xpresso cards shortly.
Full version with JC21 Kit (easy option, 1.4M):

Kind regards,
Marc
