Hello, I am new to the Smat Card Enviroment. We are planning to develope an application, which should be able to access information from a Smart Card (Bank cards as mentioned in the EMV specification). We plan to use the Opencard Framework. Currently we have a gempc410-SL reader. Can any tell me how do i go about accessing card(visa smartcard) information like name, card number, etc. Do you have to establish a licence with any of the members in the EMV consortium like Europay, Mastercard and Visa for to access this informaton.
