hi there, though I havn't worked on the card thatu have mentioned, I belive following info will be of some use to you,
1. any information that u want to store/manipulate into/from a smart card you must have an EF.. as MF is root similar to a directory and DF is nothing but set of EF.. so all the data has to be in any one of the EFs.. for example you want to have a counter.. for which u have to define an EF or if u already have an EF which u can access then u can utlize that as well.. 2. Access conditions, All the card manufacturers have named blank cards as Factory blank cards.. which come with a predefined defualt access conditiond.. the access conditions vary depending what card and for what purpose u buy.. say for example an ID card and a SIM card would be coming under different access conditions.. this means that while u procure u have to be specific about the card that u want to buy.. and the purpose that u want the card to serve for you 3. You can define your own access conditions while u personalize the factory blank cards.. however there will be some areas which the manfacturers may not want u to access.. becuase the developers usaully do not need that area.. I hope this info will be of some help to you Cheers Amaresh Ballolli, Project Leader Radiant Infosystems (P).
