When it comes to smartcards and linux I suggest visiting www.linuxnet.com. Homepage of M.U.S.C.L.E group. You can download a PCSC daemon from there and probably PCSC drivers for you reader. And then try to make it work using OCF-PCSC bridge. Or you can configure OCF to connect directly to your reader (in opencard.properties file just like in Windows), if there's a card terminal driver for it.
