I have tried to implement RSA on gemXpresso card.
First of all you have to implement Big Integer. Use mutable arrays
as there is no garbage collection.
But result was not at all satisfying. Since RSA is running on software
and that too java it was very very slow.

May be if you choose the best algorithms for big integer functions
and code properly you may get good results. Then also I think
it may not be suitable for usage. ECC will definitely be a better option.
Some javacards are available with RSA built in.
