Hi, I'm new to Smart Cards, when installing OCF 1.2 All-in-One package, I get the following message dialog:
Couldn't find Microsoft Smart Card Base Components on your system. Please make sure the software is installed before using the OpenCard Framework. Microsoft reportedly rolled these components into the "Platform SDK - Windows Base Services". The Win2K "services" shows Smart Card Services as started/automatic. Have I missed the boat? Is there something else I need to do or acquire? I have downloaded drivers and sample programs from my reader manufacturer (SCM), and their samples work. My reader is an SCM Microsystems SCR301 The SCM diagnostic tool says the following base components are loaded: --File-- --Version-- scardsvr.exe 5.0.2134.1. Microsoft WINNT\System32 ...server scarddlg.dll 5.0.2134.1. Microsoft WINNT\System32 ....dialog smclib.sys 5.0.2134.1. Microsoft WINNT\System32\drivers ..driver scardssp.dll 5.0.2134.1. Microsoft WINNT\System32 .....providers Is there a registry setting I have to tweak for Win2K? Any help is appreciated :-) e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- > Visit the OpenCard web site at http://www.opencard.org/ for more > information on OpenCard---binaries, source code, documents. > This list is being archived at http://www.opencard.org/archive/opencard/ !
