Hello,

I'm trying to get the VT1632A DVI Transmitter supported on a VIA VT3344 device.

After patching the I2C code for bus 3 (see patch
xf86-video-openchrome-0.3.3-i2c3.patch) it was possible to detect the VT1632
device. The setup of the DVI transmitter should be fine too but the screen does
not turn on.

I studied different code (from kernel source tree the viafb module and the
drm-openchrome stuff and the Xorg unichrome code too). It seems that the VT1632
is connected to IGA2 (BTW: This is a CRTC, yes?) and I think I'll have to set
it up (modesetting etc.). I already tried it but without luck.

Can somebody tell if I am on the right way or is there something totally wrong?

bye
Chris
