Hi John,
I think in terms of developer time attention, your problem will likely get the
most attention for a while from here on.
It took a lot of time and effort to release a new version, and I have been
taking it easy in terms of coding time for the past 5 days or so.
Also, if your bug is fixed completely, I will likely bump the version to 0.5.0,
and urge various Linux / BSD distributions to take the newer version since it
solves a serious bug.
