I don't think I can still call myself a developer at this point, but I have
been trying to fix various bugs I see with Linux display related device drivers
during my free time.
At this point, I was able to figure out how to compile OpenChrome code posted
at freedesktop.org, and install it with Lubuntu 12.04.
I sent an e-mail about power management related bug almost 2 weeks ago, but I
have yet to receive a response from the main OpenChrome developer.
I am starting my process of trying to learn what is going on inside the
OpenChrome code, so I am afraid I may not be able to help you too much at this
point, but if you can, you may want to file a bug report with
http://bugs.freedesktop.org as a first step.
When you do so, upload your Xorg.0.log at the time when you file the bug report.
Note that Xorg.0.log is located at /var/log.
If you are not sure, let me know, and I should be able to give you more
instructions on how to do it.
