hi everyone,

i have a unichrome pro video card (K8M800) and i always had troubles
with the via driver that comes with xorg, and the openchrome driver
(experimental_branch, trunk, and various revisions of the svn) so now
that i have more time to spend in opensource, i like to help debug (at
least) the driver, but i dont know where to start.

i know how to use gdb, autotools and others development tools (i develop
gtk+ based applications).

can anyone tell me how construct a debugging environment?.

i currently have the openchrome (trunk) compiled with --enable-debug
--enable-xv-debug, but i dont know what else can i do, especially
because the X hangs up i have no way of get the logs or core files.

any clue?.

thanks to everybody for the development of the driver ;)

bye
