release/trunk should work fine with this laptop, to the extend of what VBE can do, which may or may not be of much use. You might want to try the randr branch which does have improved panel code that doesn't require VBE anymore. Theoretically, this new code should be able to drive properly all laptop's panel but it's currently only enabled for P4M900/CN896/VN896. I have a patch to enable it for all chips but CLE266 and KM400, which are already properly supported. http://washington.kelkoo.net/epia/patches/openchrome-randr_new_panel_code_for_all.patch Regards, Xavier _______________________________________________ openchrome-users mailing list [email protected] http://wiki.openchrome.org/mailman/listinfo/openchrome-users Main page: http://www.openchrome.org Wiki: http://wiki.openchrome.org User Forum: http://wiki.openchrome.org/tikiwiki/tiki-view_forum.php?forumId=1
