as far as that belongs, i am running
2.6.24-gentoo-r4
x11-libs/libdrm-2.3.0

but ... i am sooo sorry, the box where i am using gstreamer right now
runs the unichrome driver, not the openchrome ... mea culpa, mea culpa !
i'm really sorry for all the confusion, but i have some boxes here with
openchrome, and others running unichrome ... and have them mixed up
somehow ... however, currently i have no spare time left to try with
openchrome ... in 2 weeks time could permit ... if that can be any use,
i would definitely try it with openchrome !!!
