#257: mouse cursor disappeared in CN700/VM800/P4M800CE/Pro somewhere between 570
and 577 (probably in 577)

A user at Debian has reported that in the upgrade from r570 to r579 its
mouse cursor dissappeared. At the moment the problem was reduced to the
r570-r577 range, being the latter revision the one that is very likely to
be causing the problem.
More information can be found at the Debian bug report.
By the way, the user also said that default resolution was wrong, and
since it is also a CN700 I believe this second problem is #254.
