I confirm that this occurs also on K8M890. It seems that it is a
regression in r682. I mean that this function works fine with r681 and
there is a bug on r682 and later. I also noticed that this doesn't occur
when using EXA (tested with some of the latest revisions, as with 682 I
can't even open an image in GIMP when using EXA).
