From the bug report:
The "real" mouse button is some centimetres away from the one displayed on
the screen.
That is really hard to explain:
The Mouse is here X -->and over here--> the text is marked.
The right side of the screen isn't directly accessible by the mouse only
indirect via the missplaced mouse.
