 I seem to have a simillar problem.
 When I first start my system (EPIC VIA SP8000) and use MythTvFrontend to
 display a video, the motion is jerky and mythtv constantly reports
 'waiting for a free video buffer'. Mythtv is configured to use XVMC Pro.
 However, I have found that if I restart X (using INIT 3 and then INIT 5)
 and use mythtv to display a video, it now works perfectly.
 I am using driver version 0.2.903-6.fc10.
