 fhn: that's weird that "#ssh: xset dpms force off" broke PCI-E only with
 my first patch. In both cases driver writes the same value to 0x2A after
 "#ssh: xset dpms force off". I can belive that "#keyboard: space" was real
 event that caused PCI-E problem.

 My patches proved we write only to 0x0F part of 0x2A. No matter what, 0xF0
 part it not being untouched.

 These bits are not reserved, so why this cause corruption? Applied patch
 workarounds it, but problem is still not explained/understood.
