Maybe I should open a new ticket for this. In VBEmode the display power
management in kde kills the signal to the display in: standby, suspend and
poweroff mode. As a result the backlight of the lcd turns off. in
ActiveDevice=DFP mode the screen is blanked, but the backlight stay's on.
