I have a CN700/VT1622A which is connected to a television. No up and donw
jumping there. The CX700M board has a TV out header (jumper like pins I
cant easelly connect a tv to) and X reports it as unknown:
(II) CHROME(0): ViaVT162xDetect
(II) CHROME(0): I2C device "I2C bus 2:VT162x" registered at address 0x40.
(WW) CHROME(0): Unknown TV Encoder found at I2C bus 2 40.
(II) CHROME(0): I2C device "I2C bus 2:VT162x" removed.
So I guess I can't help you there.
