On more comment: I am currently using AccelMethod "EXA",

Without these options the problem is even more severe - lock ups happen
not only when switching between full screen/windowed, but as it seems
randomly:
- After some time when playing
- When playing multiple videos and switching to the second one
- etc.
I did not really see a pattern.
I do not know if this is related, but I hope it is nevertheless useful
information.
